BelizeINVEST, a unit of BELTRAIDE, participated in the International Tourism and Investment Conference (ITIC) held from November 1 – 2, 2019 at the Intercontinental Park Lane in London. The Conference provided a platform to drive international awareness and investment into the tourism sector by bringing key decision makers from the public and private sector to share innovative insights on the countless opportunities that exist at each destination. Belize was an integral part of the panel discussion, which sought to showcase the competitive advantages and investment opportunities across the region. Additionally, the Conference also provided the opportunity for one on one networking sessions, where representatives from Belize met with viable investment interests.

The conference was organized by Daiichi Display Ltd., a London-based company which owns ITIC in facilitating challenging dialogue between tourism industry leaders and stakeholders on the sustainable development of tourism and travel in collaboration with governments, investors and project owners.  Representing BELTRAIDE was Mr. Gian Hernandez, Investment Associate, along with Mr. Sean Tang, Business Development Manager at the Belize Tourism Board (BTB).
