On September 5^th, 2018, the Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE), through its SBDCBelize and EXPORTBelize technical units, has partnered with National Bank of Belize Ltd (NBB), to provide capacity building to the Bank’s clients in the areas of enterprise, export, and human resource development. 

Ms Lejia Melanie Gideon, General Manager of Enterprise and Innovation Division, BELTRAIDE and Mr Alvaro Alamina, General Manager of the National Bank of Belize Ltd, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation geared towards providing efficient and seamless services to Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in business development facilitation; and agreed to exchange information and data to actively support and promote the productive sector credit programs currently offered and managed by the NBB.

This date also marks five (5) years of the National Bank of Belize Ltd. being in operation.
