BID lanza cursos virtuales para emprendedores y PYMEs en la Academia       ConnectAmericas

El BID, a través de su Academia ConnectAmericas, pone a tu disposición una amplia oferta de cursos en línea gratuitos y webinars sobre comercio exterior, estrategia empresarial y marketing digital para ayudar a las empresas y emprendedores de América Latina y el Caribe a mejorar la gestión de sus negocios.

Esta oferta formativa es totalmente gratuita para los usuarios de ConnectAmericas.com. Esta plataforma virtual fue creada por el BID con el apoyo de Google, Visa, DHL y Alibaba, para ayudar a las PYMEs a vencer las barreras de la internacionalización.

Algunos de los cursos disponibles en la Academia ConnectAmericas son:

Beltraide participates in Taipei Food Show


EXPORTBelize, a unit of Beltraide, participated in the 2016 Taipei International Food Show from June 22 – 25, 2016 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan.   In addition to EXPORTBelize, two other Belizean companies also participated in the food show – L&R Liquors and Caribbean Premier Products.  Some of the products on display included pepper sauces, beer, rum and natural juices.

The Taipei Food Show featured buyers from over 100 countries passing through the show and having opportunities to sample food & beverages from over 36 national pavilions.  Exhibitions included fresh fruits & vegetables, preserved fruits and vegetables, poultry, seafood, meat & processed meats, edible oils, dairy products, organic and vegetarian foods, frozen prepared foods, canned food, baked food, biscuits, wine & liquor, coffee & tea, juice & soft drinks, condiments & confectionary and ice cream.

Belize was a part of the Central American pavilion which housed other countries in the region such as Honduras, Dominican Republic, Panama, El Salvador and Costa Rica. Funding for Belize’s participation in food show was through the support of the Central American Trade Office (CATO).

VISIT BELTRAIDE BOOTH AT SUGAR FEST 2016 ON SATURDAY JULY 23rd!

2016 to be held this Saturday, 23
rd July at the BSI Field in Orange Walk Town.

The booth will feature an array of displays and product sampling courtesy of clients of the Small Business Development Centre Belize, (SBDCBelize), a unit of Beltraide. These include body scrub products from K & K Naturals, pepper sauces from Papanero and Tambranero, Mayan crafts from Epie Maya Tour and honey products from Perla’s Honey among many others.

Sugar Fest 2016 is a fun family affair organized by Belize Sugar Industries Limited to celebrate the accomplishments of the sugar cane crop year. And Beltraide is pleased to be part of this mega event.

Come one, come all! There will be lots of fun, lots of food and drinks for the entire family. You can’t afford to miss this great family day event!

BTEC TRAININGS AIM TO PREPARE THE YOUNG FOR WORK AND HOW TO CARE FOR THE OLD


The Belize Training and Employment Centre (BTEC), a unit of Beltraide is currently conducting two (2) important training sessions designed with the young and elderly persons in mind. 

The first training is entitled: Creating a Stronger Path to Workforce Readiness. It targets senior high schools students, especially at risk young people, as well as recent graduates and aims to provide them with introductory job preparedness training in order to build their capacity to help them to develop the self-awareness and interpersonal “soft skills” needed to be successful in the job market.  The training will last for three weeks and is being held in collaboration between RESTORE Belize and BTEC.
