RFP NOTICE- CONSULTANT: STRATEGIC PLANNER


CE Logo 2013 Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export), in collaboration with the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA), invites proposals from qualified contractors to provide consultancy services for the execution of a Strategic and Sustainability Plan (2014-2018) for CAIPA. Contractors are invited to submit a detailed technical proposal that demonstrates their capacity to undertake the assignment and a financial proposal.

  The proposed consultancy is being undertaken in the context of the 10th European Development Fund Regional Private Sector Development Programme.

Suitable applicants must submit a proposal (including a technical and a financial sub- section) that seeks to achieve the stated objectives.

The deadline for all submissions is 1 July 2013 at 4:30 pm (AST). Late submissions will not be accepted.

Standard for Public Comments: Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality


The Belize Bureau of Standards (BBS) wishes to notify the relevant stakeholders and the general public that the standard “Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality” is being developed by the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ). The Final Draft CARICOM Standard “Guidelines for Recreational Water Quality” is out for public comments and inputs into its technical contents. Stakeholders are asked to note, on approval of the standard by COTED, the BBS will adopt the same as a national standard. The deadline for submission of comments to the Bureau of Standards is July 31st, 2013. The standard is also available on request from the BBS office and website at http://www.bbs.gov.bz . Comments can also be mailed to the BBS Office or email at bbs@btl.net or stds.officer@bbs.gov.bz.
