The Belize Trade and Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE) in collaboration with the Regional Center for Promotion of Micro and Small Enterprises (CENPROMYPE), with the financial support of the Government of Taiwan and technical assistance from Colombia, will be having a three day workshop for Entrepreneurs. It will commence on Monday, June 3, 2013 to June 5 at the Belize Institute of Management’s Conference Room in Belize City, from 8:30a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide technical support and guidance for the development of businesses that exhibit strong growth potential and demonstrate the capacity to expand in the locally as well as regionally.

Topics to be discussed include:

• Developing a definition for your business model
• Developing empathy maps
• Identifying minimum viable products
• Comparison between Start- up and Scale up
• ·                  Utilizing the Loan Business Model Canvas

The workshop facilitator will be Mr. Mario Reyes, a Chilean innovation consultant and the Research Manager for P3 Ventures, a company whose mission is to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems in Latin America and the Caribbean.
