A training workshop, hosted by the Caribbean Development Bank, with the aim to enhance customer service delivery for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) took place in Georgetown, Barbados. BELTRAIDE, represented by Mr. Brian Lin, Business & Investment Facilitation Officer, had the honor to receive hands-on training experience in the realm of customer service delivery.
Via this training initiative, a trainer was trained for each CARICOM Member State (including Belize), so as to be able to deliver a Customer Service Enhancement training session to local MSMEs in the end. The five-day training session encompassed:
- Proactively anticipating the needs of the customers, including potential customers, in a consistent and dependable manner,
- Understanding that customer trends are constantly changing, so it is imperative that businesses consistently align its strategy to cope with these changes,
- Understanding that each customer type demands a unique service offering.
In light of this, the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) will be seeking BELTRAIDE’s assistance in executing a national training session to qualified local MSMEs in Belize. At the end of the training session, each participating enterprise will also be asked to produce a customer service enhancement Action Plan for further follow up. BELTRAIDE is confident that this training is yet another information sharing forum that can add value to our thriving productive sector!
