The Belize Bureau of Standards is proud to announce the coming of a Metrology building for Belize. With this building, the Bureau will see the establishment of its scientific capabilities that will benefit the industry and consumers in the country. The establishment of calibration laboratories in the areas of mass, volume, pressure, dimension and temperature will enable the Bureau to provide much needed services to both private and public sectors. The procurement of this new infrastructure will see an expansion of Bureau’s current legal metrology services as well as the introduction of further activities in industrial Metrology. The Bureau welcomes and anticipates the completion of this project as it will mark an important milestone in the growth and development of this institution.
