The Belize Gaming Control Board has been receiving information of the existence of several unlicensed gaming houses in Belize. We advise the general public that there are only five (5) licensed Gaming Premises in the country that are allowed to have “gaming” meaning “the playing of any game of chance for winnings in money’s worth”.

Any company that holds poker tournaments or any other card games for money’s worth, without a license issued by the Gaming Control Board is clandestine and we ask the public to refrain from doing business with these illegal entities.  Any violation to the Gaming Control Act and its Regulations shall be dealt with to the full extent of the law.
