March 28th, 2012- The Belize Trade & Investment Development Service (BELTRAIDE) would like to thank the stakeholders, who participated in the National Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) consultations that were recently held.  The feedback has been crucial to the development of Belize’s MSME Policy and Strategy.

A National MSME Symposium will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the Belize Biltmore Hotel commencing 8:30 am, where the consultation’s participating stakeholders will partake.  The objectives of the symposium are to:

(1) Approve on the definition of MSMEs,
(2) Endorsement of the policy recommendations and
(3) Endorsement of the draft MSME Development Act.

The final aim of this exercise is to develop an inclusive National MSME Policy and Strategy for Belize.
